Information Technology Investment Regions (ITIR) in Hyderabad
According to a report published in the Business Standard, Andhra Pradesh Government is establishing Information Technology Investment Regions (ITIR) in Gachibowli, Uppal and Shamshabad areas of Hyderabad.
The report notes that "the ITIR will be a specifically notified zone that will include 40 per cent of processing area and the rest comprising social infrastructure, residential areas and administrative units…"
This is a good decision by the Government of Andhra Pradesh that will benefit all sections of the society.
