SCR seeking land for new terminals

According to a report published in the Deccan Chronicle, the South Central Railway (SCR) is seeking land from the State Government for the construction of four new terminals at Shamshabad, Hitec City, Moula Ali and Medchal in Hyderabad.

The report further notes that, "the SCR has got the Railway Board’s nod for the construction of the terminals but non-availability of land has been a bottleneck for the project. Rs. 1,000 crore is required for each new railway station as it will be of international standards."

This is good news for the commuters of these areas as well as real estate developers providing real estate projects in the specified areas.
